Guide to the Study of History of Music

P. Jurgenson’s publication of 1884 entitled “Guide to the Study of History of Music”  by Arrey von Dommer has historical and cultural value. In 1868 the book of this author entitled “Guide to History of Music - From the Very Beginning to Beethoven’s Death”
(“Handbuch der Musikgeschichte, von den ersten Anfangen bis zum Tode Beethovens” in German) was published. It appeared in 1874 in the Russian translation under the title “Guide to the Study of History of Music”.
