- Being the Principal conductor of the Academic Bolshoi Theatre of the USSR, he carried out the most grandiose in terms of scale and the most spectacular performances of the Russian operas, setting the trend for the “golden age” at the Bolshoi.
Nikolai Golovanov - the People’s Artist of Russia, the laureate of four Stalin’s awards and the spouse of the great singer Antonina Nezhdanova.
The next concert within the frames of the project, devoted to Nikolai Semenovich Golovanov’s creative heritage, will be held on 16 February 2016 in the Grand Hall of Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory.

In the program of the concert there will be spiritual and symphonic music, as well as arrangements of folk songs.
Performers: Folk Academic Choir of Traditional Russian Song (chief choirmaster and conductor Andrei Azovsky), Academic Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing” (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Lev Kontorovich) and Symphony orchestra of Radio “Orpheus” (Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergei Kondrashev)
